About

Hey, I'm Josh.

I started Loverr.ai for one reason: I wanted to know which AI girlfriend, AI porn generator, and adult AI companion apps were actually worth the money — and every review I could find online read like a thinly-veiled affiliate pitch. So I started paying for these apps myself, testing them seriously, and writing down what I learned.

I'm a regular guy doing the homework you'd otherwise do yourself.

I'm a software guy in my late twenties. I was already curious about AI tools for work, and once I noticed how fast the adult-AI side of the space was moving I couldn't stop poking at it. Within a year I'd burned through a couple of paid subscriptions, got burned by one or two of them, and realised I might as well help other people skip the bad ones.

  • Recommend something I haven't paid for. If I review it, I tested it.
  • Sugarcoat a bad app. Affiliate commission doesn't move my score.
  • Hide that I make money on referrals. See the disclosure.
  • Pad reviews with "ultimate guide" filler. If a section doesn't help you decide, it gets cut.

Sign up, pay, test, write.

Every review on this site follows the same rhythm. I create an account on the app the same way you would, pay for whatever tier I need to actually use the features, and run it through a fixed checklist: character creation, NSFW boundaries, memory retention, image and voice quality, mobile experience, what shows up on the credit-card statement, and what happens when I try to cancel. I keep the same checklist for every app so the comparisons aren't apples to oranges.

If a claim can't be backed by my own sessions, the platform's own pricing or terms pages, refund policies I tested, or a credible aggregator of user complaints, I either hedge it or leave it out. Every review's Sources I checked block lists what I leaned on.

Got a correction, a tip about a new app I should look at, or just want to compare notes? Email me at contact@loverr.ai. I read everything.
