Porn AI

The last version of this review complained that porn.ai hid its prices and published no refund policy. Both of those things were true in May. Neither is true now, and the reason is the most interesting thing about this site: porn.ai changed hands. The domain that adult-industry veteran Steve “Lightspeed” Jones told the Washington Post he’d spent part of $550,000 acquiring, and turned into his own AI image generator, is now a free video tube with an Ourdream footer. Click anything that makes something and you land on ourdream.ai. The Terms of Service don’t even mention porn.ai. They cover ourdream.ai and ourdream.io.

So this is a review of a doorway. I’ve rebuilt it from the ground up: I read the new Dream Studio terms, refund and privacy policies line by line, traced the ownership story from a 2024 Washington Post profile through a 2025 industry interview to a DNS record that no longer resolves, pulled the Ahrefs traffic history that shows exactly when the old site was gutted, and read the June 2026 ABC News investigation into the company you’re actually paying. The old review said “I used a paid Porn.ai account.” You can’t have a porn.ai account any more. You have an Ourdream one.

TL;DR verdict

porn.ai in September 2026 is a well-made, no-login tube of AI-generated clips sorted into Straight, Trans, Gay and Hentai, with view counters in the hundreds of thousands on the top videos, sitting on top of a funnel into Ourdream. As a free thing to browse, it’s the most generous front door in my ranking. As a product, it isn’t one. There’s nothing to buy on porn.ai that isn’t Ourdream, and Ourdream is the highest-traffic app I cover, with its own review.

I’m keeping the 5.3 because I’m scoring the domain, not the parent. A 5.3 says: harmless to browse, pointless to pay through, and carrying a reputational cloud from the parent company that you should read about below before handing over a card. The numbers nobody else will show you

Ahrefs data for porn.ai as of September 15, 2026:

• Domain Rating 49, with 1,750 referring domains (586 followed) and about 49,000 backlinks. For a two-word premium domain that’s actually modest: Seduced.com, a comparable exact-match .com, has DR 66 and 2,068 referring domains.
• Ahrefs-estimated organic search visits: 8,124 in August 2026, down 54% from 17,549 in August 2025, which was also the all-time peak.
• The crater: the site was doing 8,000-17,000 a month through 2025 and early 2026, then fell to 884 in May 2026. It has been climbing back since. Ahrefs’ live snapshot on September 15 shows about 2,000 visits a month across just 18 ranking keywords, 3 of them in the top three, so the rebound is real but thin.
• Top countries: India (420), the US (416) and Germany (178) in the live snapshot. Near-even India and US traffic on an English-language adult site usually means the rankings are for generic head terms rather than brand searches. Nobody is googling “porn ai” as a brand.

Read the crater against the timeline and it explains itself. In January 2026 a press release was still pushing the old generator at df.porn.ai. By May, organic traffic was down 90% from the previous autumn. Today df.porn.ai doesn’t resolve, the footer says Dream Studio, and the homepage is a fresh tube with a sitemap full of /videos/ category pages built for search. That is what it looks like when a domain is sold, wiped and relaunched as an SEO asset for its new owner. The new owner, for scale, pulls about 918,000 Ahrefs-estimated organic visits a month on ourdream.ai. porn.ai is a rounding error in that portfolio and a very expensive one.

Who this is for

You’re the target reader if you want to watch AI porn rather than make it, and you don’t want to give anyone an email to do it. The tube is genuinely good at this: an age click, a preference pick, and you’re scrolling categories with thumbnails, durations and view counts, with Recommended, Newest and Most Viewed sorts. The catalogue leans hard into trans, gay and hentai alongside straight, which is a broader spread than most companion apps bother with. Every clip is fully AI-generated, per the FAQ, “no real people are involved.”

You’re also the target if you’re an Ourdream user who wants to see what other people’s characters look like in motion. There’s a “User Uploaded Videos” strip fed by Ourdream share links, with a “Made one? Paste its Share link” prompt. It functions as a public showcase for the generator.

And you’re the target if you were searching a generic term like “AI porn videos” and Google sent you here. That’s what the site is built for. It has category pages for essentially every ethnicity, act and body type in the sitemap.

Who should skip this

Skip it if you thought you were buying something called Porn AI. You’re not. Every Create, Generate, Upgrade and Buy Coins path terminates on ourdream.ai. The Terms of Service you agree to are “an agreement formed between you and Dream Studio USA, Inc.” covering “the websites available at ourdream.ai and ourdream.io.” If you want a dedicated generator with its own identity and community, Create Porn AI, Seduced or PromptChan are the honest comparisons, not this.

Skip paying through it if you want to be careful about who has your data. The privacy policy says your information may be used “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”, and that a public character you create which “reaches a certain threshold of popularity” can be kept active “even if you otherwise delete your data and your account.” That is a real product decision and you should know it before you build anything you care about.

Skip it if the parent company’s press matters to you. In June 2026, Australia’s ABC published an investigation into Ourdream’s Sydney-based operator, Coreflow, reporting an insider’s account that some users had generated child sexual abuse material on the platform and quoting a child-protection expert on the harms. The company pointed to its prohibited-content rules and its Australian hiring. I’m not in a position to adjudicate that story. I am in a position to tell you it exists, because nobody selling you an affiliate link will.

And skip it if you’re expecting the old porn.ai. The Lightspeed-era engine, with its “clones”, its 50/50 creator revenue share and its “#1 AI porn image generator for 13 consecutive months” claim, is gone. If you had an account there, I have found no migration notice anywhere.

What Reddit actually says

A live Reddit search for “porn.ai” on September 15, 2026 scanned 170 posts and matched two. Zero comments on either. Both matches are other products. r/QuitPornAI in August 2025 is a welcome post for QuitPorn.AI, an abstinence site about quitting porn. r/theprimeagen in June 2025 is a joke about AgentPorn.ai, “Developer OnlyFans (guaranteed no naked people).” The domain is so generic that a live search cannot find the site that paid half a million dollars for the name.

The older traces I already had still stand, and they are not user reviews either:

• A January 2026 post in r/issheai titled “Lissa is the AI Girl of the Year for 2025”, written as a press release (“Porn.ai, the leading platform for AI-generated adult content and virtual companions, today proudly names Lissa…”), claiming 10,800 images generated of one character, and linking to df.porn.ai with a ref affiliate parameter in the URL. That is marketing wearing a Reddit costume, and it’s the last trace of the old generator I can find.
• Multiple “review” posts in r/ArtificialAffection (eHentai, iGirl, “Wild World of AI Porn: Top Picks”) that each contain the same numbered list of Candy.ai, porn.ai, Dreamgf.ai and eHentai.ai, all linking through a single affiliate domain. Same author pattern, same links, same order. Astroturf.
• A 2024 “Pornworks AI Alternatives” list in r/nsfwaigenerator with zero comments that name-drops porn.ai among a dozen others, again with an affiliate Candy link at the top.
• A 2023 joke in r/CharacterAI: “Why doesn’t somebody just pony up a few grand and open porn.ai? ROI would be a zillion percent.” Somebody did, for considerably more than a few grand.

What I did not find in this pass either: a single thread of real users discussing porn.ai’s quality, billing or cancellation. Not one. For a domain this valuable that’s the finding, and it matches the Ahrefs picture: traffic from generic search terms, no brand community. The actual community lives on the parent’s turf, r/ourdream_ai (linked in porn.ai’s own footer) and Ourdream’s Discord. If you want real user sentiment, that’s where to read, and it’s what I drew on for my Ourdream review. The one organic Ourdream mention I’ll flag here: in a December 2025 r/CharacterAI_No_Filter thread about ThotChat shutting down, a refugee tried “soulkyn, ourdream, and mydreamcompanion” and “eventually subscribe[d] to ourdream.” That’s about as close to an unpaid endorsement as this corner of Reddit produces.

The half-million-dollar domain

Here’s the ownership story as far as I can document it, because it’s the thing that changed this review.

In late 2022, according to a March 2025 industry interview, Steve Jones, an adult-web veteran who’d run more than 30 paysites in the 2000s under the name Lightspeed, saw Stable Diffusion 1.5 and decided the moment had come. He says he secured VC funding in January 2023 and started building Deepfake.com in February. In February 2024 the Washington Post profiled him; the domain trade press summarised the relevant line: he and a former business partner “immediately spent about $550,000 securing the web domains for porn dot ai, deepfake dot com and deepfakes dot com.” He built an image engine “trained on a vast collection of pornographic images” and said power users generated for ten hours a day. porn.ai became the flagship. By March 2025 he was claiming it had been “the #1 AI porn image generator/community for 13 consecutive months” and was selling the engine to others as Wowify.ai, an API with “CCBill, Visa, and Mastercard-approved filters.”

Then, sometime between January and May 2026, porn.ai stopped being that. The generator subdomain disappeared from DNS. The traffic fell 90%. And the site that came back carried Dream Studio’s footer, Dream Studio’s policies, Dream Studio’s help centre, Discord and subreddit, and a blog written by an Ourdream editor whose every call-to-action is “start creating on ourdream.ai.”

I could not find a press release, a sale price or a broker listing. Neither company has, to my knowledge, announced it. It’s possible this is a licence or partnership rather than a sale. But the Terms of Service on porn.ai are Dream Studio’s, the copyright line is Dream Studio’s, and the old operator’s product is gone. Functionally, porn.ai is an Ourdream property, and the most expensive landing page in this category.

First-session walkthrough

Loaded September 15, 2026. First thing you see is an overlay: “Adults Only. Age Verification Required. By entering, you agree to our Terms. Confirm you’re 18+ to continue.” Below it, “I’m interested in:” with chips for Females, Males, Trans, Gay, Straight, then “I’m over 18” and “Leave site.” A second, plainer gate also exists in the markup: “This site contains sexually explicit, AI-generated adult content. You must be 18 or older (21 where required) to enter.” No ID check. The FAQ explains why: “In regions that require age verification we show a safe-for-work experience.” They swap the content by geography rather than verify you.

Past the gate: a top bar with Login, Join Free, Upgrade, Buy Coins and a Learn menu that opens a full SEO mega-menu (Resources Hub, AI Girlfriend Types, Comparisons, “Candy AI Alternatives”, AI Sex Chat Guides, Help Centre, Affiliates). The page headline is “Free AI Porn Videos by Category” with four category rows and a grid of clips: durations from about two to fourteen minutes, titles like “Curvy Blonde Personal Trainer Fucks Married Client In Empty Gym Locker Room” at 372.8K views, and a lot of POV. Scroll further and you hit the “User Uploaded Videos” strip of Ourdream characters, a “Make your own” box, the FAQ, and a footer with Explore, Chat, Create, Generate, My AI, Feed, Community, Help Desk, Safety Center, Discord, and the Dream Studio copyright.

Click Join Free, Create, Upgrade or Buy Coins and you’re on ourdream.ai. There’s no porn.ai account to make. The old review described Create, Watch and Explore tabs and a character creator on porn.ai itself; that interface no longer exists.

Chat experience and memory

None on porn.ai. All of it on Ourdream. Ourdream’s chat is the reason it’s my number three app: multiple selectable chat models, a large character directory, and a memory system it markets as “advanced.” My honest read, covered properly in the Ourdream AI review, is that Ourdream’s memory is among the better ones in the category but not flawless, and that its prose has a house style you’ll either enjoy or find florid. The old porn.ai review said the writing showed “OurDream AI stylistic fingerprints.” That part was accurate, because it was Ourdream.

The one porn.ai-specific memory note is in the privacy policy: chat logs and account data live on Dream Studio’s servers, encrypted at rest, and can be used to train their models. Nothing about porn.ai’s tube changes that.

Image generation

Again, Ourdream’s. You describe a character and a scene, “and ourdream.ai’s models generate the result in seconds”, per porn.ai’s own FAQ. Ourdream’s images are competent and consistent, with a stronger anime side than Candy and a photorealistic side that’s a notch below Candy’s. Generation is coin-metered from the 1,000 Dreamcoins a month included with Premium, and the free trial is a one-time 55 coins with no card. If you’re evaluating image quality, evaluate it on Ourdream with the trial, not from porn.ai’s tube, because the tube is a curated highlight reel.

Voice and video

porn.ai’s entire identity now is video, so it deserves a proper look. The tube streams short AI clips, and the good ones are good: coherent bodies, consistent faces within a clip, plausible motion, a range of styles from photoreal to anime. The bad ones are the usual AI-video tells, and the view-count sort surfaces the good ones for you. Nothing plays behind a paywall on the tube itself.

Making your own clips is an Ourdream feature, and Ourdream is one of very few companion apps where video generation is native rather than bolted on. That’s genuinely its edge over Candy. Two caveats from my Ourdream research: clips are short, and independent testing has reported a substantial failure rate on video generations that still consume coins. The old review said you couldn’t generate custom videos at all, only watch the library. That’s now wrong: the tube’s “User Uploaded Videos” section is literally other people’s generated clips.

Voice: Ourdream offers voice messages and calls; the Terms include a clause about voice features and a ban on submitting third-party voice recordings. porn.ai itself has no voice anything.

Customization depth

Ourdream’s creator: appearance, body, personality presets, occupation, style, fetish tags, and a public/private toggle. Deep enough that a “highly popular Character by definition is having active conversations with many thousands of users”, to quote the privacy policy’s justification for keeping popular public characters alive after their creator leaves. Read that toggle carefully. Set a character to Public and it may outlive your account. porn.ai adds nothing to the creator; it just shows you what other people made.

NSFW behavior and limits

The tube is explicit from the first scroll and the categories are blunt. The rules are Dream Studio’s Prohibited Content Policy: no minors in any form, no real people or deepfakes, no copyrighted characters, no incest, no hate content, and a list of “objectionable fetish content” including scat, urine, vomit, vore, necrophilia and “active piercing.” Moderation is “a content moderation filter based on our proprietary LLM technology”, with human review of flagged content and account termination as the sanction. The Terms say you’re solely responsible for what the AI outputs in response to you.

What that means in practice on Ourdream is a permissive platform with hard walls in a few places, and a filter that occasionally misfires on ordinary adult scenes; my Ourdream review covers the specifics. What it means on porn.ai is that the tube is a moderated showcase, so what you see is the sanctioned end of the range. If you want to test the limits yourself, start from Porn AI and spend the free 55 coins before you spend money.

The ABC investigation is the shadow over this section. It alleges, on an insider’s account, that the moderation had gaps around underage content early on. The company says it explicitly bans it. I can’t verify either from the outside; I can tell you the policy language is now among the most detailed in the niche, and that policies and enforcement are different things.

Mobile experience

Responsive web, no app, no PWA prompt in the markup. The tube is the kind of thing that works fine on a phone: a grid, a player, a scroll. The age-gate interest picker is thumb-friendly. Once you cross into Ourdream you get Ourdream’s mobile web, which is serviceable but a notch behind the leaders on touch polish. There is no App Store or Play Store listing for either brand and there won’t be, because Apple and Google don’t list uncensored companions.

Pricing analysis

There is no porn.ai price list because there is no porn.ai product. The old review flagged “complete opacity” and it was right for the wrong reason: the prices weren’t hidden, they were on a different domain. Today they’re stated plainly in Ourdream’s homepage FAQ and repeated in porn.ai’s own July 2026 blog guide:

The maths that matters: standard chat is unlimited on Premium, so a text-first user pays $9.99-$19.99 and is done. Images and video draw down the 1,000 monthly coins, and video is the expensive one. If you want a steady supply of clips of your own character, expect to buy coins. If you mainly want to watch, the tube is free and you never need any of this.

Value vs alternatives

porn.ai versus the field is a category error, so let me reframe it. If you want an all-in-one companion with chat, images and native video under one login, the product behind this domain is Ourdream AI, which I rate 9.7, and you should go there directly. If you want the prettiest photoreal images and the most complete voice and video set, that’s Candy AI at 9.8, with a token meter you’ll want to read about first. If you specifically want a standalone generator that isn’t a companion app, Create Porn AI is the traffic leader in that lane and Seduced AI is the fetish-extension specialist.

Where porn.ai has value on its own: it’s the best free window into what a modern generator’s output actually looks like across a wide range of categories, with zero sign-up. Use it as a demo reel. Don’t use it as a shop.

Refund and cancellation reality

This is where the rewrite most changes the verdict. In May there was no published refund policy. Now there is one, dated March 9, 2026, and it’s specific.

Cancellation: any time, through account settings or by email. Access continues to the end of the period, no further charges, and “unused portions of a billing period are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.”

Refunds: a 14-day “Quality Guarantee” for a defect or a service “significantly different from its description”, resolved at Dream Studio’s discretion as a credit, replacement, fix or refund, case by case, with a 7-business-day target. Separately, EEA, UK and Swiss consumers get the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, with the standard catch that using the digital service immediately can forfeit it. Crypto purchases: “final and non-refundable, except where prohibited by applicable law.”

Chargebacks: “Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.” Email first, then bank.

Behind that sit the Terms: binding individual arbitration through JAMS with hearings in San Francisco, a class-action waiver you can opt out of within the stated window, and a liability cap at the greater of $100 or what you paid. That’s a real US corporate legal stack, more protective of them than of you, and far more than most of this niche publishes. The old review’s advice to “treat any subscription as final” is now too pessimistic if you’re in Europe and too optimistic about the chargeback route anywhere.

Safety, privacy and billing discretion

The Privacy Policy, last modified August 26, 2026, is one of the more specific I’ve read in this category. What it commits to: AES encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, databases on a SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2-certified platform with GDPR and PCI DSS 4.0 alignment under a shared-responsibility model; Dream Studio as GDPR data controller; EU and UK transfer safeguards; CCPA and Nevada disclosures; a right-to-be-forgotten section; and account deletion via Settings.

What it also says, and you should weigh: your data may be used “to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”; retention is “for the time necessary” with no fixed periods; data may be processed outside your country and be “accessible to law enforcement and national security authorities under certain circumstances”; and a popular Public character survives your account deletion. None of this is end-to-end encryption. Chats are readable server-side, which is how memory and moderation work, and the moderation policy confirms flagged content is reviewed by humans.

Age verification is an attestation plus geo-swapping to SFW content in regions that mandate checks, and, per the Terms, ID-style verification “where required by applicable law.” No blocked-country list is published.

Billing discretion: payment processors aren’t named in the public policies. Independent Ourdream reviews report the card descriptor as “Dream Studio” with no adult wording; I couldn’t confirm that from outside and I’ve stopped repeating the old review’s “OURDREAM AI” descriptor claim, which I also couldn’t source. Crypto is available if you want no card trail, at the cost of any refund.

The corporate picture: Dream Studio USA, Inc. (Delaware, Dover mail-drop address), Dream Studio LLC (New Mexico), Tektopia Ltd (Cyprus). Per ABC’s June 2026 reporting, the operating company is Coreflow in Sydney, founded by four university graduates, one of whom is Dream Studio USA’s officer. That is a lot more paper than most of my ranking has. It’s also a company under public scrutiny on the worst possible topic. Both things are true.

Common complaints and patterns

With no independent porn.ai user community, the patterns are inferred from the documents, the traffic and the parent’s reputation. In order: confusion about what you’re buying (the brand on the door isn’t the brand on the receipt); a name so generic that a 170-post Reddit search matched QuitPorn.AI and a developer joke instead of this site; the vanished old generator and the absence of any migration notice; a video product where clips are short and failed generations still cost coins (an Ourdream-wide complaint); the training clause and popular-character retention in the privacy policy; and the June 2026 investigation. On the positive side, and I want to be fair: a real refund policy with a European withdrawal right, encryption specifics in writing, named entities with addresses, and a free tube that asks for nothing.

Final verdict

porn.ai is a doorway. It used to be a house. The house was Steve Lightspeed’s image generator, bought and built for real money in 2023, and by spring 2026 it had been emptied and turned into an Ourdream showroom with a Dream Studio footer. What’s left is a genuinely useful, genuinely free tube of AI clips, an SEO mega-menu, and a set of legal documents that belong to another product. I keep the 5.3 because a doorway can be well-built without being worth paying for, and because the company on the other side of it carries a story you need to read for yourself.

Score breakdown: Free tube, excellent, no strings. Product identity, none; everything paid is Ourdream. Legal and refund paperwork, among the best in the niche, tilted toward the company. Privacy, encrypted and specific, with a training clause and character retention you should read twice. Traffic, down 54% year on year with a spring 2026 crater that marks the handover. Reputation, a parent under an active child-safety investigation in Australia.
