PornJourney

PornJourney is one of the grandfathers of this category. It went live in February 2023, back when, by its own account, “there was only one other website offering similar services,” and it is still here, still generating, still running the same tile-selector interface that lets you build a nude without typing a word. In a market where sites lose their domains and vanish inside a year, three and a half years of continuous operation is worth something.

What it has not done in those three and a half years is get its paperwork in order. The Terms of Service are dated February 2024 and name a company that did not exist until June 2025. The same Terms quote two different monthly prices thirteen sections apart. The plans page shows $0 for every tier. The homepage was running a “50% off for Spring” countdown timer when I loaded it in mid-September. And the payment company named on your card statement changed its name and business model over a year ago without PornJourney noticing.

For this rewrite I pulled the current site and every legal page, checked the operating company against Companies House, traced the billing entity through French regulatory filings, pulled the Ahrefs traffic data, and went through 22 Reddit posts and about 58 comments that match the name. Every one of those matches is someone talking about quitting porn, not this website. My earlier review of this site contained a lot of things I could not back up, including an “8.7/10” that contradicted the 4.9 at the top of the page. This version fixes that.

TL;DR verdict

PornJourney is a competent, beginner-friendly nude generator wrapped in a legal and pricing presentation that would embarrass a Shopify dropshipper. The selector workflow works, the realistic model’s anatomy detail is its genuine selling point, Keep This Girl gives Premium users real reuse, and the card billing at least runs through a regulated European payment institution. Against that: no video worth the name after three years of “beta,” no way to know the price before checkout, no refunds, a shell company in the Terms, and a fake countdown on the homepage.

The 4.9 stands. Use the free tier to judge the output, and if you buy, buy one month, screenshot the checkout, and set a reminder three days before renewal. Try PornJourney free before any of that.

The numbers nobody else will show you

Ahrefs data for pornjourney.com as of September 15, 2026:

• Domain Rating 36, with 1,049 referring domains (476 followed) and about 62,000 backlinks. A respectable, organically built profile for a site of this age, and noticeably healthier than PornX’s.
• About 12,800 Ahrefs-estimated organic search visits in August 2026, up from 9,400 in August 2025. That is plus 37% year on year. The peak was 21,000 in June 2025; the site has sat in an 11,000-14,000 band through all of 2026. Boring, in a good way. No penalty crater, no domain migration, no spike from a viral listicle.
• Only 50 ranking keywords, 21 of them in the top three. Read that carefully: a site with 12,800 monthly visits and 50 keywords is a site people find by typing its name. The traffic is brand search, not discovery. Nobody is finding PornJourney by googling “ai porn generator”; they already know it exists.
• Top countries: United States (2,946), Brazil (2,417), India (1,126). The footer has a Change language menu and the Brazil and India numbers suggest the localised versions are pulling their weight.

Now hold those numbers next to the homepage, which says in capitals: “10 MILLION IMAGES GENERATED EVERY DAY.” I have no way to audit that claim, and neither does anyone else, but a site with 12,800 organic visits a month generating 300 million images a month would be one of the most intensively used web applications on earth. I do not believe it, and you should treat it as the same category of statement as the Spring sale in September.

For scale: Create Porn AI, one place below PornJourney in my ranking, gets about 454,000 organic visits a month. Undress, two places below, gets 877,000. PornJourney is a small, stable, brand-driven site, which is not an insult. It is just not what its homepage says it is.

Who this is for

You are the target user if you hate writing prompts. PornJourney’s entire design bet, made in 2023 and never abandoned, is that most people do not want to learn Stable Diffusion vocabulary. They want to tap “Ultra Realistic,” pick a body type, breast size, hair, pubic style and pose from tiles, and get a picture in ten seconds. For that person, and there are a lot of them, this interface is still one of the cleanest in the category.

It is also for people who care about a specific kind of realism. The homepage’s pitch has always been intimate detail: “the delicate nuances of a nipple color, pubic area, moles, stretch marks, veins.” That is not marketing fluff; it is the thing the site’s model was tuned for, and third-party reviewers who bother to zoom in generally agree it does that well. If your taste runs to close-up anatomy rather than cinematic scenes, PornJourney’s model is aimed at you.

It is for people who want to reuse a face. Keep This Girl saves the generation seed on Premium so you can re-pose the same character later, and the library stores images with their metadata. That is a real feature that a lot of cheaper generators still do not have.

And, unusually, it is for gay men who want a dedicated section rather than an afterthought toggle. The Gay section is real, even if GayDemon’s reviewer complained it is “hard to find” and that “navigating the gay section of the site often leads back to the straight area.”

Who should skip this

Skip it if you want video. The homepage title tag now reads “Realistic AI Porn Video Generator and Image-to-Video,” and the Videos tab is in the main navigation, but the feature is still called “Video 1.5 Beta” and has carried a beta label since at least 2024. A June 2026 r/virtual_companions poster who tested five “uncensored video” apps put it bluntly: “PornJourney - image generation calling itself a video app. Skip if you want actual video.” That poster was shilling Lovescape in every thread he started, so weigh it accordingly. I have not found a single user praising PornJourney’s video.

Skip it if you want chat. There is a Sext tab, Premium only, with pre-made characters. GayDemon’s reviewer found that “you can’t chat with your own guys, but only create pics of them.” There is no personality card, no memory, no relationship state. It is a sexting toy bolted onto a generator.

Skip it if you need to know the price before you commit, or if you might want your money back. I cover both below, and neither is good.

And skip it if you care who you are paying. The Terms name a company that was three months old when its confirmation statement fell overdue, with one director on the other side of the planet from the registered address. That is not proof of anything sinister. It is proof that nobody is minding the legal pages.

What Reddit actually says

I went through Reddit’s live results for “pornjourney” and “porn journey”: 27 posts, 22 flagged as brand matches, and the comment trees on 12 threads, about 58 comments, from 2016 through July 2026. Zero of those 22 matches are this generator. The phrase “porn journey” is how people on r/NoFapChristians, r/PornAddiction, r/QuitPornForever, r/NoPornNoProstitution and r/Accountabilibuddies describe getting in and getting out. October 2022, r/NoFapChristians: “Today I want to change all of that so I start my porn journey today pray for me brothers.” October 2025, r/PornAddiction: “I’m about a month and a half into the no porn journey.” May 2026, r/Accountabilibuddies: looking for a buddy “for my no porn journey.” There is even an empty lounge at r/MyNoPornJourney. Comments from people who had clearly paid for pornjourney.com: none in this pile. If you search Reddit for this product, you will spend an hour reading recovery posts, and that is the first finding.

What still exists from earlier searches, and what I am not throwing out, is the same thin affiliate layer. r/Chatbots placing it second in a sexting-app listicle, praised for “both Anime and photorealistic characters,” with a comment lumping it with SoulGen as one of “the more involved and pricier options.” The copy-pasted “Best AI Porn Generators” roundup in r/UncensoredAIgirls: “limited styles and lacks support for custom prompts.” Fair description of the free tier, written as an ad. r/virtual_companions, June 2026: “image generation calling itself a video app. Skip if you want actual video,” from an account whose every post recommends Lovescape. r/aiporngenerators: 16th, three stars, no explanation, under a Seduced affiliate link.

That is still the whole product record. No surprise charge. No refund fight. No Keep This Girl report. For a site live since early 2023 that claims ten million images a day, drowning in a homonym and then producing four affiliate mentions is loud. My read, consistent with the Ahrefs keyword data: a modest returning user base that does not talk, a public conversation that is affiliates talking to each other, and a brand name Google and Reddit both treat as a recovery slogan.

Two non-Reddit sources are still worth more than all of the above. GayDemon’s review of the gay section is the only piece I found with real complaints from real use: results “rarely what I had in mind or input from the list of characteristics,” not all backgrounds worked, could not save pictures, “prices only given in Euros.” And ThePornDude’s launch-era review pins down the original business model: “Premium Factory membership” at “fifteen bucks a month” via Patreon. That number matters for the next section.

The Terms of Service that contradict themselves

I want to walk through this because it is the most concrete evidence of how this site is run.

The Terms of Service page says “Last updated: February 17th, 2024.” Its first paragraph names the operator as “Zambe Limited, a Limited Liability Company registered in London, UK with company number 16493978.” Companies House shows that Zambe Limited was incorporated on June 3, 2025. So a document dated February 2024 names a company created sixteen months later. The obvious explanation is that the entity paragraph was swapped at some point after June 2025 and nobody touched the date. The less obvious question is who the operator was before, and the ToS does not say.

The company itself: private limited, SIC code 63120 (web portals), registered at a serviced office in Hackney, one officer. Merlin Mbala Mbala, born June 1994, Cameroonian, resident in Hong Kong, sole director. First confirmation statement due June 16, 2026, flagged overdue when I checked, along with the director’s identity verification. First accounts not due until March 2027. And the status line on the Companies House record, as of September 15, 2026, reads “Active - Active proposal to strike off.” That is the registrar’s way of saying the company is on course to be dissolved for not filing. The entity named in the Terms you agree to at checkout may not exist by the time your annual plan renews.

Then the pricing. Section 4.4: “the payment service and billing starts at $15 USD per month on Patreon and 15 EUR on the Website for month and 89 EUR for the year. Users have two payment options: Patreon and Credit Card.” Section 17, same page: “The payment service and billing start at 24.99 EUR on the site for one month and 219.99 EUR for the year. You have two payment options: cryptocurrency and credit card.” Both sections say card billing is “in the name of our payment provider, BD Multimedia.” Both say cancellation is via “the link provided below.”

So the same document tells you the price is 15 EUR and 24.99 EUR, the annual is 89 EUR and 219.99 EUR, and the alternative to a card is Patreon and crypto. The 15-dollar Patreon figure matches ThePornDude’s 2023 review; the 24.99 EUR figure is presumably the current list price; the 14.99 EUR “25% off” and 89.99 EUR annual reported by third-party reviewers in 2024-2025 are presumably the promo. The plans page, which should settle it, shows ”$ 0 / month” for both Basic Premium and Advance Pro, exactly as it did when I wrote my earlier review.

If a client sent me a contract like this I would send it back. PornJourney has been asking people to agree to it for years.

First-session walkthrough

The homepage on September 15, 2026 opens with a banner: “50% off for Spring! 60 Min : 00 Sec : 00 Ms.” It is autumn. The timer is a fixed sixty-minute countdown, the oldest urgency trick on the web, and it undermines every other claim on the page before you have scrolled.

Below it: “Create The Woman Of Your Dreams! Create a free account and start make your Ai porn experience now!” (sic), Go Premium and Try Free buttons, badges for “Completely Private” and “Safe and secure transactions,” and the ten-million-images claim. Feature tabs for Image, Edit, Sexting, Video, Stories. Selector previews for Ultra Realistic, Anime/Hentai, hairy/shaved pubic hair, boob size, gender, feet detail. A three-step pitch: select features, click Generate, “10 Secs,” enjoy.

Main navigation: Create, Videos, Sext, Stories, More (News, Gallery), Login, Get Premium. Footer: Gay section, Pro, Privacy policy, Terms of service, Become an affiliate, Change language, Our Partners (an empty page), FAQ, About us, Mobile app. The Mobile app page offers an Android APK download and nothing else.

Signup is email-based and quick. You land in the generator, pick a style, pick tiles, hit Generate, and wait. The FAQ is candid that free-tier waits happen because “the servers used to create the style you chose can be overloaded,” and the fix it offers is Premium. Within a few generations you meet the Keep This Girl button, which is greyed out until you pay. The Premium modal sends you to /plans, which shows $0, and then to a checkout where you finally see a number in euros. GayDemon’s reviewer noted “prices only given in Euros” as a con; for a site whose biggest audience is American, that is a strange choice that has persisted for years.

Chat experience and memory

The Sext tab is Premium-only and, per the subscribe page, sells itself as “the only AI Sexting specially made for Porn - JOI - ROLEPLAY - PORN - DOMINATION.” You pick from pre-made characters and exchange messages. There is no character creator with personality fields, no backstory, no memory beyond the current conversation, and, per the only detailed third-party account I found, no way to sext with the characters you generate yourself. It exists so the feature list can say “sexting.” If conversation is any part of what you want, the apps at the top of my ranking are in a different sport.

Generation quality

The realistic model is the reason to be here. Skin texture, moles, stretch marks, vein detail under pale skin, varied nipple colour, pubic hair from shaved to full: this is what the model was trained toward, and it shows in the homepage samples and in the output third-party reviewers describe. The anime/hentai mode is competent and covers fan-art styles, futanari and furry per the subscribe page. Generation is fast when the servers are not busy, and the FAQ is unusually honest that they often are.

The weaknesses are the ones every selector-based generator has. Tiles give you breadth, not precision, and GayDemon’s complaint that “the results are rarely what I had in mind or input from the list of characteristics” is the flip side of never having to type. Custom text prompts exist but are gated to the Advance Pro tier, whose price is not public. Face and body drift between generations unless you are on Premium and using Keep This Girl, which is the one feature that makes repeatable characters possible. Uncrop and the Edit tab extend or alter an image after the fact. There is no inpainting brush comparable to PornX’s, no 4K upscale mode I could find, and no negative prompt on the free tier.

Free-tier output is watermarked. Premium removes it and, per the plans page, delivers “no watermark, copyright-free” images, which is a legal simplification but tells you the intent.

Voice and video

No voice, no voice cloning, no calls. The site has never claimed otherwise.

Video is “Video 1.5 Beta,” Premium only. It has been in beta for at least two years, which at some point stops being a beta and becomes the product. I could not find a single user account praising it, and the one 2026 Reddit test that mentions it dismisses it entirely. The homepage title tag calling PornJourney a “Realistic AI Porn Video Generator” is the least defensible sentence on the site.

Customization depth

Tile selectors for style, body type, breast size, hair, pubic style, gender, feet detail, pose and background. Keep This Girl on Premium locks a seed so you can change one attribute and keep the face. A library with editable metadata. Uncrop and Edit. Custom prompts and “edit with high resolution” behind Advance Pro. Weekend model drops promised on the homepage, though there is no changelog to check them against, unlike PornX which publishes dated release notes.

The ceiling is low compared with prompt-first tools. No sliders for proportions, no multi-character composition, no scene builder, no LoRA-style extension stacking. If you want control, PornJourney is the wrong tool. If you want to not have to control anything, it is the right one.

NSFW behavior and limits

Uncensored for legal adult content in both styles, with hardcore, fetish and hentai categories all first-class. The About page bans “child sexual abuse, incest, bestiality, rape, or non-consensual mutilation,” which is more specific than most and notably lists incest and bestiality as hard limits.

What the About page does not mention is real people. Third-party reviews from 2024 described an “Undress AI” tool on PornJourney for converting clothed photos to nudes. I could not find it in the current navigation or on the current homepage, and the company may have quietly removed it; I do not know. If it still exists behind the login, understand that running it on a photo of a real person without their consent is a crime in the United States under the TAKE IT DOWN Act of 2025, in the UK under the Online Safety Act, and in a growing list of EU states, and no interface convenience changes that. PornJourney’s own policy pages are silent on the point, which is itself a mark against them. Test the generator on fictional characters and leave it there.

Mobile experience

The site is responsive and works in a mobile browser. The Mobile app link goes to a page offering a direct Android APK download with no Play Store listing, meaning you enable installs from unknown sources and sideload an adult app from the site itself. There is nothing for iOS. There is no PWA prompt. For most people, the browser is the sensible route, and the tile interface actually suits a phone better than a prompt box does.

Pricing analysis

Everything I can source is in the table above. My interpretation: list price is probably 24.99 EUR a month and 219.99 EUR a year, the perpetual “50% off” and the 14.99 EUR figures floating around review sites are the promo you will actually be offered, and the 15 EUR / 89 EUR line in section 4.4 is a fossil from the Patreon era that nobody deleted. Advance Pro has no public price at all.

At 14.99 EUR with the promo, PornJourney is mid-priced for a generator with no video and no chat worth the name. At 24.99 EUR it is expensive. Compared with Candy AI at $12.99 plus tokens, or Ourdream’s genuinely usable free tier, PornJourney is asking a lot for a tile selector and a seed-saver. Its real competition is other pure generators, and against PornX (roughly $25 by outside accounts, with far better editing tools) it is cheaper on the promo and weaker on features.

Practical rules: never buy the annual plan first. Screenshot the checkout. Note the exact renewal date. Pay by card only if you have set a reminder; pay by crypto if you want the fixed period the ToS describes.

Value vs alternatives

PornX (5.1) is the closest comparison: another 2023-era pure generator with pricing you cannot see. PornX wins on editing (inpainting, Reimagine, 4K upscale), on transparency of entity, and on a no-signup free tier; PornJourney wins on selector simplicity, on gay content, and on traffic stability. Seduced AI (5.3) is the pure generator I would point a prompt-writer at, with a far deeper extension system for consistent characters; my Seduced AI review covers its own pricing opacity. Promptchan (3.2) has a bigger anime library and video, with a worse trust profile; see my Promptchan review.

If you want images and a companion in one place, none of these are the answer. Candy AI (9.8) and Ourdream AI (9.7) both generate explicit images from a character who also remembers you; my Candy AI review explains what that costs.

Quick rule: pick PornJourney if you want a nude in three taps and never want to see a prompt box. Pick PornX if you want to fix what came out. Pick Candy or Ourdream if you want her to talk.

Refund and cancellation reality

The homepage has a section headed “How to unsubscribe” that says, in full: “At Pornjourney, we want you at ease, not stressed with tiring recurring payments!” followed by a Subscribe button. That is the entire explanation. The actual rule is in the Terms: cancellation for card subscribers is via “the link provided below” in the ToS page, which is an odd place to put it, and it must be done “within 24 hours after signing up and 48 hours before the renewal.” The FAQ repeats the 48-hour rule and offers email support to help. Miss the window and the next period bills. Patreon, if still offered, cancels on Patreon.

Refunds: “Subscription fees paid are non-refundable, except where required by law.” Exceptions are a “major error on the site,” a card “charged unfairly,” or a cancellation that “did not work.” Not liking the images is not on the list. You keep access to the end of the paid period.

The one thing in PornJourney’s favour here is that the billing entity, BD Multimedia (now TRACTIAL), is an ACPR-regulated French payment institution. That does not make PornJourney refund you. It does mean a disputed charge is handled by a company with a regulator, which is more than you can say for most offshore adult processors. Use the 1 EUR verification hold as your signal: if you see it and did not intend to subscribe, act within the 24 hours.

Safety, privacy and billing discretion

Let me separate the claims from the documents.

Claims (homepage): “Completely Private,” “the image is encrypted we do not acces to it,” “We do not track or link your encrypted image generations,” “No bullshit, no tracking!”, RTA and SSL badges.

Documents (privacy policy, February 17, 2024): personal data is name and email; usage data is retained “for internal analytics purposes”; data is processed “at the Company’s operating offices” with no location given; retention is “only for as long as is necessary.” The word “encrypt” does not appear. Nothing about model training either way. Nothing about a data protection officer, a UK or EU representative, or how to exercise GDPR rights beyond an obfuscated email address. And the policy predates the current operating company by sixteen months, so whatever entity it describes as “the Company” is not the one in the ToS.

My previous review treated the encryption and no-tracking claims as established. They are not. They may be true; there is no document supporting them.

Billing: the FAQ and ToS both say card charges appear as “BD Multimedia.” BD Multimedia is a real French company, founded in 1986, licensed as a payment institution by the ACPR in 2015, registered as a digital-asset service provider with the AMF in 2023, and listed on Euronext Growth Paris. In July 2025 it renamed itself TRACTIAL and announced a strategy of accumulating Bitcoin on its balance sheet; the ticker changed from ALBDM to ALTRA in August 2025. PornJourney’s FAQ still says BD Multimedia. I do not know what the descriptor reads today, and neither, apparently, does PornJourney. It is discreet either way. It is also a reminder that “your payment provider” here is a Paris-listed crypto-treasury company processing euro charges for a Hackney shell whose director lives in Hong Kong, on behalf of a site that says it is run by cybersecurity nerds. Every one of those things is documented. None of them is illegal. All of them together are why the trust section of this review is longer than the image-quality section.

Common complaints and patterns

From the handful of real accounts and the documents: results that do not match the tiles you picked; slow free-tier queues that the FAQ itself acknowledges; prices shown only at checkout and only in euros; the $0 plans page; the perpetual sale countdown; video stuck in beta; sexting limited to pre-made characters; the gay section being hard to reach; and the 48-hour cancellation trap. Across 22 matched Reddit posts and 58 comments I still have no spend log and no refund fight, because those comments are about quitting porn, not this site. Praise, where it exists, is for the realism of intimate detail, the speed when servers are quiet, the simplicity of the selector, and Keep This Girl.

Final verdict

PornJourney is a survivor with a decent model and a mess of a business. The generator does what it says: realistic or hentai nudes from tiles, fast, with anatomical detail the site was built around, and a seed-saver that makes reuse possible for paying users. Everything else, from the fake countdown to the self-contradicting Terms to the three-month-old shell company to the video that has been “beta” since 2024, tells you nobody at the company reads their own website. At 4.9 it sits exactly where a product like that should sit: usable, not trustworthy, not recommended over anything above it.

Score breakdown: Generation quality, good for close-up realism, weak on control. Video and voice, effectively none. Chat, a pre-made-character sexting toy. Value, unknowable until checkout, mid-priced on the promo and expensive at list. Legitimacy, a regulated payment processor attached to an unmaintained legal stack. Momentum, flat and stable, which is the nicest thing in this paragraph.

If you want to click tiles and get a nude, try PornJourney free, stay on the free tier until you are sure, and treat any euro you send as spent.
