Dream GF

DreamGF was one of the first AI girlfriend sites to get mainstream press, and it shows. It was built in mid-2023 as an image generator that could also chat, it still reads like one, and the company behind it hasn’t shipped a roadmap feature since August 2024. What it does well, it did well two years ago: an appearance builder with several hundred tags, in-chat photo requests, a fetish generator, and a statement descriptor that genuinely doesn’t say anything embarrassing. What it does badly is the part everyone else has spent those two years improving: conversation, memory, voice.

The billing is the other thing you need to know about before you click anything. The first payment is cheap and the renewal is roughly double. The homepage FAQ advertises four plans that don’t exist. Three different policy documents give three different answers on refunds, and one of them reserves the right to charge you $1.99 a month for having an old account.

For this rewrite I fetched the homepage, pricing page, terms, privacy policy, refund policy, membership policy, roadmap and About page, read the Romanian company registry entry for the operator, and went through 144 Reddit posts that matched “dreamgf” or “dream gf.” Most of that pile is gluten-free food and people describing their ideal girlfriend. About 27 posts were about this product, and most of those are affiliate listicles. My old review invented a testing schedule and a support-response window; both are gone. The pricing and descriptor claims in it were right, the “refund details unclear” line was not.

TL;DR verdict

DreamGF is a strong custom-nude generator wearing a girlfriend costume. If your use case is “build a very specific woman and get pictures of her in specific outfits and positions,” the builder is the deepest I’ve seen and $12.99 for a first month with 100 tokens is a fair price to find out. If your use case is talking to her, every Reddit comparison I found ranks it at or near the bottom for chat depth, memory and voice, and I agree.

Pay monthly, never annual: $69.99 becomes $311.88 in year two and there’s no refund. Cancel from inside the account before the renewal date and screenshot it. If the builder is what you’re after, try DreamGF on the free tier first and see whether the blurred previews look like the woman you described before you hand over a card.

The numbers nobody else will show you

DreamGF is a mature brand in slow decline, and the company’s own filings say the same thing the traffic does:

• Domain Rating 60, 2,547 referring domains (1,160 followed), 228,000 backlinks. That’s a normal, earned-looking profile for a site that got Forbes, Sifted and Daily Star coverage in 2023, all of which are still linked in the footer.
• Ahrefs-estimated organic search visits: 62,860 in August 2025, 50,584 in August 2026, down 20% year on year. The longer trend is a slow bleed from about 56,000 in September 2024, with a hole in February 2026 (23,800) that has since half-recovered.
• 816 ranking keywords, 154 in the top three. Top countries on the current snapshot: US 21,924, India 6,065, Canada 2,249. The Indian share is high for a paid adult product and usually means free-tier browsers rather than buyers.
• The operator’s registry filings (DREAM.AI SRL, Bucharest, founded July 13, 2023) show revenue of about 1.57 million RON in 2023, 10.43 million in 2024 and 5.88 million in 2025, roughly €2.1 million falling to €1.2 million, with a small net loss both years and one registered employee. The 2025 figure covers all four sites in the network, so DreamGF’s own take is smaller.
• The roadmap’s last released item is Voice Calls, dated August 2, 2024. “AI Videos” has been “In progress” ever since. The blog’s newest post is from June 2024.

Read together: a site that peaked in 2024, has been coasting since, and lost about 44% of its revenue in 2025 while a dozen better-funded competitors passed it. The traffic hasn’t collapsed because the domain still carries authority from its press moment, not because anything new is pulling people in.

Who this is for

You want control over how she looks more than how she talks. The Categories page is the honest product spec: hair colour and style, body type, breast size in five steps, ethnicity, face expression, roughly a hundred outfit tags from “Stewardess” to “Space Suit”, a lingerie sub-menu, cosplay from Catwoman to Death Knight, plus pose and act categories I’m not going to list. A “fetish generator” sits on top of that. If you’ve ever been frustrated by another app’s ten-option builder, this is the fix.

You want the pictures inside the chat. Ask her for a photo and the system parses the request and renders one in the established look; the homepage FAQ says images are “generated in real-time” against the conversation. When it works, it’s the one thing DreamGF does that feels like a relationship rather than a prompt box.

You log in daily and hate paying for messages. Text is unlimited on any membership, and even free users get a daily claim of 10 messages rising to 50. The referral program pays 100 tokens per paying friend, which is ten images.

Who should skip this

Skip it if you’re here to talk. This is the unanimous finding. A seven-app tester: “heavier on image generation, lighter on conversation… the chat side feels barebones.” A month-long Candy comparison scored DreamGF’s NSFW chat 2.1 out of 5 for “missed roles and dodged spicy topics with short, artificial responses.” An open review thread: “fun in short bursts, but longer chats start repeating like a playlist stuck on one track.”

Skip it if memory matters. “It remembers basics but loses nuance between sessions. After a few days you’ll notice it forgetting details the other two would catch.” “The memory is shit. I ditched it after a week because it felt like talking to a brick.” Nothing on the site describes a memory system, and nothing in the roadmap promises one.

Skip it if you’ll want video or good voice. There is no video, whatever the listicles say. Voice messages are described as “synthetic” and “robotic” in every report I found, and calls cost 7 tokens a minute on top.

And skip the annual plan regardless. $311.88 on renewal with no refund is the single worst deal on this list.

What Reddit actually says

“Dream GF” on Reddit is almost never this site. I went through 144 posts and about 1,049 comments that matched “dreamgf” or “dream gf,” from 2012 through September 2026. The pile is gluten-free pizza, Political Compass memes, GTA character screenshots, and teenagers describing their ideal girlfriend. After requiring dreamgf.ai or DreamGF as a product, I had about 27 posts. Of those, maybe four were from people who had clearly paid and were talking about the actual service.

The rest is listicles. The same “top 10” copy is posted to r/CharacterAIrevolution, r/chatbot, r/UnderstandingAI_, r/NervGen_NerveRepair, r/ShelbyGT350, r/LastTrainHome and r/Supernatural_fanbase, usually with a pixelpartner.net, darlinq.net or dreamvel.net link. They give DreamGF 4.2 to 4.5 out of 5 and invent features the roadmap has not shipped. An October 2025 ranking calls it a “Virtual dating sim with realistic image generation, voice calls, kiss videos, and progression systems.” Kiss videos are not a thing here. A March 2026 table in r/NervGen_NerveRepair sells “Deepest customization + video” from “$9.99/mo.” Video is still “In progress.” $9.99 is leftover FAQ copy.

What genuine users actually say is narrower and harsher. The August 2024 r/Chatbots thread titled “Is dreamgf.ai a scam?” is still the only detailed billing story: a three-month plan that kept charging after a cancel, a second attempt the writer called “convoluted,” and the suspicion they design it so people “THINK they cancelled when they, in fact, haven’t.” I did not get a second, independent billing write-up in this pass.

On the product, three 2026 comparison posts that are not the pixelpartner template land in the same place. r/TopAITools4U in May: DreamGF is “heavier on image generation, lighter on conversation” and “the chat side feels barebones.” r/CharacterAIrevolution in April, after a month on eight apps: “Great visuals but memory and long-term consistency aren’t on the same level.” r/CAIRevolution in July: “DreamGF is lighter and more casual. Neither stood out long-term for me.” A June Trustpilot-ranking post scored it 2.6 and called it a “Dating sim type vibe, more guided and structured.” That is the whole organic record on chat and memory, and it matches what I already thought.

One 2023 post is worth keeping as history, not as a review. r/dropservicing in November 2023 pitched cloning the model because “A startup company from Romania is making $100K+ a month from this business model.” DreamAI SRL’s 2025 filing was about half the 2024 revenue. The pitch aged in public.

r/antiai in August 2026 named “candy dreamgf” in a marriage-and-porn post; the app on the phone was Joyhub, a toy-control product. I am not counting it as a DreamGF user.

Near-universal praise, when the writer has actually used it: the builder, and the “Dream Ai” statement descriptor. Near-universal complaints: chat depth, memory, voice, how fast the free paywall arrives, and that three-month cancel flow. Isolated but worrying: the post-cancel charge. The official r/DreamGF_ai, 13,000 subscribers, was banned about two years ago; its moderators also ran r/AI_nude_girls and r/AI_sexy_models.

The listicles that keep inventing video

DreamGF’s Reddit footprint in 2026 is not a community. It is an affiliate printer.

The tells are boring once you have seen three of them. Off-topic subs (a Ford Mustang forum, a supernatural fan page, a nerve-repair ticker). A table that ranks Secrets AI, Candy, Darlink and DreamGF in that order. A “from $9.99/mo” cell. A claim of video, kiss videos, or “video gen.” A tracking domain. r/HeavenGF still fills with Lurvessa and DarLink redirects in identical phrasing; I am not quoting those either.

The damage is that those posts are what Google shows for “DreamGF review.” They keep the stale Bronze-to-Diamond FAQ alive, they keep a video feature on the page that the company’s own roadmap has listed as unfinished since 2024, and they make a 2023 image generator look current. If a write-up of this app mentions video as a shipped feature, close it.

The useful Reddit is the Chatbots cancel thread, the three comparison notes above, and the company’s filings. That is a thin record for a site that still pulls 50,000 organic search visits a month, and the thinness is the point: people who stay do not write, and people who write are usually selling a different URL.

Three pricing stories and the one that’s true

DreamGF’s pricing is described four different ways across the web, and I can now tell you which one is real because I read the checkout-facing page and the policy behind it.

The homepage FAQ, still live in September 2026, says: “Bronze: $9.99 per month, Silver: $19.99 per month, Gold: $49.99 per month, Diamond: $99.99 per month.” Most 2024-2025 reviews repeat this. It’s stale copy nobody deleted.

Third-party reviews saying “tiers from $12.99 to $69.99” are quoting the three first-payment prices on the actual pricing page as if they were monthly tiers. And one 2026 Reddit thread lists “Basic $5.99, Standard $12.99, Premium $27.99” with image caps of 100, 300 and unlimited, which matches nothing on the site and I’d treat as invented.

The real structure, from the Pricing Policy and the Membership Policy:

Note the trick: whichever plan you pick, the renewal price is $25.99 a month. The “discount” is entirely in the first period, and the Membership Policy says so in plain terms: vouchers and discounts “are only applied to the first subscription period, and the recurring fee will be as per the original price of the selected plan.”

Two more oddities. The pricing page has the labels swapped (it calls the $12.99 plan “3-Month Membership” and the $29.97 plan “Monthly Membership”); the numbers and third-party checkout reports make clear which is which. And section 7 of the Membership Policy reserves the right to apply “a Maintenance Charge of $1.99 per month to keep user accounts active and operational” for anyone who has previously paid, with deletion of the account as the only opt-out. I found no report of it being charged. It’s still in the contract.

What 100 tokens buys: 10 images, or 5 new girlfriends, or 33 voice messages, or 14 minutes of calls. A moderate image user needs a pack; packs run $2.99 to $179.99 and are charged the instant you click one.

First-session walkthrough

The homepage today is unchanged from its 2024 shape: “AI girlfriend APP that works. Meet DreamGF app: The smartest AI generator. Chat and sexting. Custom personalities, outfits and more.” The top bar is Home, Pricing, Affiliate, and an “AI Network” dropdown to eHentai.ai, DreamBF.ai and JustPorn.ai. Press logos (Forbes, Sifted, Daily Star, Spiel Times) sit under the hero. Further down: a six-step how-it-works, the referral program (100 tokens to you, 50 to your friend, premium only), the Daily Claim Bonus explainer, a “some FREE AI porn photos here” teaser that links to the AI Porn section, and a blog whose newest post is dated June 3, 2024. The footer carries the company name, registration number and Bucharest address.

Signup is a pop-up: Google, Patreon, Apple, Discord or email, and email signups get a password sent to them. There’s an age gate and a checkbox at registration; the Underage Policy describes exactly that and nothing more, except for UK users, who since July 2025 face “age verification for some features” under the Online Safety Act.

The builder is the first real screen: face, body, hair, clothing, then personality, then Create, which costs 20 tokens on a paid account and renders your girlfriend’s profile with a set of images. Free accounts see them blurred. From her profile you generate more photos by tag, or open the chat and ask for one. The site’s guide also describes a Tinder-style like/dislike browser for “hundreds of thousands” of user-made girls, and an All Companions page to browse them directly.

Chat experience and memory

DreamGF’s chat model, per the roadmap, was last upgraded in January 2024. That’s the context for everything below.

Replies are short, quick and flirtatious in a generic way. She’ll follow you into explicit territory without much resistance, but she also won’t lead, build tension or hold a scenario the way Candy, Ourdream or even Swipey do. The Candy comparison’s phrase was “warm and flirty conversations that feel natural but lack depth,” and its NSFW-specific score was 2.1 out of 5. Another month-long user: “run ten in a row and the face drifts. For roleplay where the companion is meant to be one person across days, that gets old fast.”

Memory is recent-context only. Within a session she’ll remember what you said a few messages ago. Come back tomorrow and the dynamic has often reset. The site doesn’t claim otherwise; there is no memory feature on the roadmap, released or planned, and the “Proactive girls” item that would let her message you first is still “Coming soon.” If you want a companion who remembers, this is the wrong product, and the people who bought it for that reason are the ones writing “talking to a brick” a week later.

Image generation

This is the product. The builder’s tag system feeds both the initial character render and every subsequent image, and the range of tags is enormous: outfit categories alone run to about a hundred, from Lab Coat and Park Ranger to Latex and Bodypaint, with a separate cosplay list and a pose list that covers everything the Categories page lists. The fetish generator, added in early 2024, layers on top. Photo requests typed into chat get parsed and rendered in the current look.

Quality: good single images, realistic style, a semi-realistic default that photographs well in lingerie and less well in complex costumes. Two consistent criticisms from people who’ve paid: face consistency drifts across a run (“great-looking single images, but run ten in a row and the face drifts”), and the model sometimes ignores the specific ask; one Trustpilot reviewer’s entire complaint was “Gives you OPPOSITE of what you ask for.” Free-tier output is blurred and slow; paid is “up to 5x” faster per the pricing page.

At 10 tokens an image and 100 tokens a month, a paying member gets ten pictures before buying a pack. If you’re here for images, budget for packs from month one.

Voice and video

Voice messages cost 3 tokens and voice calls 7 tokens a minute; calls were the last feature DreamGF shipped, on August 2, 2024. Quality reports are uniform and unkind: “robotic voice lacks personality match, staying flat even during flirty talk” (2.1 out of 5 in the Candy comparison), “voice messages sound synthetic” (the Candy-vs-DreamGF thread). At 7 tokens a minute, the included 100 tokens is a 14-minute call. Nobody I found recommends spending it that way.

Video does not exist. The roadmap says “AI Videos: In progress. We are working towards users being able to generate videos of their AI girlfriends,” and the Terms hedge with “video generation if incorporated.” Two 2026 Reddit listicles describe DreamGF’s “video generation” as a standout feature; both link to the same third-party affiliate site and both are wrong. An October 2025 r/CharacterAIrevolution ranking still lists “kiss videos.” There are no kiss videos.

Customization depth

Appearance customization is best in class and I’ve covered why above. Personality customization is thinner: you choose from personality presets at creation and can write a short bio, and the site’s 2024 guide describes a “Customize Your Chat Experience” update that added chat settings. There’s no system-prompt field, no example dialogue, no memory editing, and no model choice, so behavioral tuning is limited to what the preset gives you plus how you steer her in chat.

The builder is also the primary token sink: a new girlfriend costs 20, and the roadmap’s 2024 credit update let you buy “extra girlfriends” outright. Create as many as you like; each has her own profile and thread. My old review described trait sliders for jealousy and humour; I can’t find those on the current site and have removed the claim.

NSFW behavior and limits

Everything the Categories page lists is available in images, and the chat will go anywhere adult with no filter beyond the Blocked Content Policy: nothing resembling minors, no real people or celebrities (“content that impersonates real individuals, public figures, or celebrities in a deceptive or harmful manner”), no illegal content, plus a soft-ban and hard-ban word list described in the Content and Monitoring Policy. Soft-banned words draw a warning, hard-banned ones “immediate suspension of the user account, pending review.” Publicly listed characters get manual approval. There’s a 2257 statement, a Deletion Strategy for anyone who believes a generated face resembles them, and a Complaints form on a subdomain.

In practice the guardrails are light for consensual adult content and the chat is willing but not skilled; the bottleneck on NSFW here is quality, not permission. If the tag list is what you’re after, start with DreamGF’s free tier and see what the blurred previews look like before paying to unblur them.

Mobile experience

There is no native app. The site is responsive and the builder got a mobile rebuild in January 2024, so it works with a thumb, though tag-heavy screens are easier on a desktop. Add to home screen for an icon; expect no notifications and no background audio.

The important mobile note is the impostor. An Android app called “DreamGF AI” by a developer named Mavtao uses the name with no connection to dreamgf.ai. A Reddit user who subscribed to it levelled to 100 with intimacy features still locked, got no reply from support, and reported that dreamgf.ai told him they were “taking legal action against Mavtao for using the same name.” If you see DreamGF in an app store, it isn’t this.

Pricing analysis

The honest summary: DreamGF is cheap to try and expensive to keep. $12.99 for a month with unlimited text and ten images is a fair test. $25.99 a month from month two, for a chat model last updated in early 2024 and a token allowance that covers ten pictures, is not competitive; Candy’s monthly is about half that and Lovescape’s annual is $6 a month. The annual plan’s $311.88 renewal is the number to remember, because the same site’s refund policy says you won’t get it back.

The token economy is straightforward compared to Swipey’s hearts: fixed costs, published on the pricing page, tokens roll over, packs are one-time. The friction is that anything visual costs extra on top of a subscription that already costs $26, and that packs charge “automatically once the user clicks on a token package,” so there’s no confirmation step.

The pricing page’s mislabelled plans, the FAQ’s phantom Bronze-to-Diamond tiers and the Maintenance Charge clause aren’t scams. They’re symptoms of a site nobody is maintaining carefully, and I’d price that into how much I trusted the renewal to go smoothly.

Value vs alternatives

Against Candy AI: Candy wins chat, memory, voice and has real video; DreamGF wins builder depth and has the more discreet descriptor. Two month-long comparisons landed exactly there. Against Ourdream AI: Ourdream is the companion DreamGF pretends to be, with vastly better memory and roleplay; DreamGF has more appearance tags. Against eHentai AI, the same company’s anime generator: if you want anime, go there directly; DreamGF’s anime output is a secondary style. Against Dream BF: identical product, male models, a tenth of the traffic. Against Kupid AI: Kupid’s voice is far better if calls matter.

Rule of thumb: DreamGF for building and photographing a specific woman; anything else for talking to one.

Refund and cancellation reality

Three documents, three answers. The Refund Policy: “we do not offer refunds for subscription fees or transactions unless required by applicable consumer protection laws,” blaming GPU costs. The Membership Policy: no refund of any portion “if you have utilized any of the following during your membership: AI girlfriends, generated photos, sent messages, consumed credits,” and explicitly none on 3- or 12-month plans once used. The Terms and Conditions: “Refunds may be granted at our discretion.” The first two are the ones they’ll cite.

Cancellation is inside the members area and takes effect at period end; the policy says “you will no longer be charged.” The one detailed Reddit account describes it as convoluted and reports a renewal going through after an earlier cancellation attempt; another user in the same thread had no trouble. A chargeback policy on the site warns that “fraudulent or unsubstantiated” chargebacks may leave you liable for fees and can get the account terminated.

My advice: monthly plan only, cancel the day after you’ve decided, screenshot the confirmation, check the statement for “Dream Ai” on the next cycle. If you’re done for good, delete the account; it’s the only way to opt out of the $1.99 Maintenance Charge clause, and it purges your generated content.

Safety, privacy and billing discretion

Corporate transparency is good for this category. DreamAI SRL is a real Romanian company with a registry entry, a street address, a named five-person leadership team on the About page and an EU governing-law clause, so GDPR applies. There are separate policies for underage prevention, blocked content, content moderation, DMCA, complaints, content removal, chargebacks, anti-slavery and 2257, all linked from one Policies page. The registry shows one employee, which is worth knowing when you email support.

Privacy is average. The privacy policy is a proper GDPR document: it names the lawful bases, lists your rights, says card data never touches DreamAI’s servers (processors handle it), and says data is kept “as long as necessary” with regular deletion reviews but no fixed period. It says nothing about encryption; the homepage FAQ’s “advanced encryption and secure protocols” is marketing copy, and my old review’s “end-to-end” framing wasn’t supported. It also doesn’t say whether chats train models. Google and Patreon logins hand over profile data per the policy, so use email. Trustpilot, oddly, lists the company’s location as Anguilla; the site says Bucharest.

Billing discretion is the genuine strength: the pricing page promises “No adult transactions on bank statements” and paying users across four separate reports saw “Dream Ai.” One affiliate reviewer saw “DreamGF AI.” Neither reads as adult. Card and crypto per third-party reviews; the site names no processor.

Common complaints and patterns

By frequency: shallow chat and repetition; memory resets between sessions; renewal price roughly double the intro; paywall arriving within a handful of free messages; robotic voice; face drift across image runs; images not matching the request; cancellation friction and one report of a post-cancellation charge; confusion with the unaffiliated Android app. Praise concentrates on the builder’s depth, in-chat photo requests, the discreet descriptor and the daily bonus. The pattern is a 2023 image product that never grew a good conversation layer, sold on intro pricing that hides a $26 renewal.

Final verdict

DreamGF deserves credit for being early, for a builder that still beats everyone on sheer appearance options, and for billing that actually stays off your statement. It loses on everything that has moved in two years: conversation, memory, voice, video, and the honesty of its pricing page. The company’s own filings show revenue falling by nearly half in 2025, and the roadmap shows why.

Score breakdown: Appearance customization, best in class. Image generation, good singles, inconsistent runs, heavily metered. Chat, shallow and dated. Memory, poor. Voice, robotic and expensive. Video, none. Value, fine for one intro month, poor at $25.99 renewal, terrible at $311.88 annual. Safety and billing, real EU company, discreet descriptor, but no refunds, contradictory policies and a maintenance-fee clause. I’m leaving the 8.8 in place until my next full re-test; today I’d put it around 7.5, and higher only if you’re buying it as a generator.
